Safety & Rules

Bouts in the Semi-Contact Division

NO KNOCKOUTS ALLOWED. This is a regulated event that will certainly level up your technique and skill. Opposed to a full-contact amateur bout, semi-contact is similar to technical sparring. Participants can spar at their own pace, however, they must respect each other's safety. For more information on rules, Click Here.

Respect Your Opponent, Grow Fighter IQ

The referee will protect the fighters from getting injured by regulating the contact between both opponents; however, if the fighter is being overly aggressive and/or emotional, a disqualification and a "no contest" could be given to both fighters. This is to ensure safety from any potential injuries. Judges and referees are critically looking for techniques. A 3rd round could be given to athletes who are tied for overtime, to break an even score. This typically happens to more experienced fighters since they can control themselves better. If anyone looks at the risk of injury, warnings, or stoppages can happen.

Gear Required

All participants are required to wear full protective gear when competing. This includes headgear, 16oz gloves, mouthpiece, shinguards, cup (men), and Muay Thai shorts or shorts without pockets.

Accidents / Secondary Insurance

Very rarely will any participants be seriously injured past a bloody nose or leg bruises; however, accidents are inevitable in this sport, therefore, there will always be a nurse and/or EMT personnel at each event. Furthermore, fighters are covered through our fighter insurance as a secondary insurance option, in the case that any medical expenses occur and are not covered by their personal insurance. The best way to prevent accidents is to please read and understand the rules.

Our number one goal is to give a safe environment for Muay Thai fighters to practice and grow their fighter IQ.
